Governor Lawal mourns Zamfara assembly lawmaker’s death

Governor Dauda Lawal has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a lawmaker in the Zamfara House of Assembly.
Aminu Kasuwar-Daji died on Wednesday.
Mr Kasuwar-Daji died in his sleep in the early hours of Wednesday at Kauran Namoda LGA.
According to a statement on Thursday, the governor extended his condolences to the leadership of the Zamfara parliament and the deceased’s family.
A delegation of the Zamfara government, led by Deputy Governor Mani Mummuni, attended the burial of the late Mr Kasuwar-Daji at Kauran Namoda town.
“On behalf of the state government, we wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the speaker, principal officers of the state house of assembly, family, and people of the Kauran Namoda South constituency.
“We pray that Allah provides the bereaved family with the strength needed during this grieving period. We also pray to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him eternal peace,” the governor said.
