The Ebonyi government has ordered the destruction of shrines and deities in Amasiri due to the community’s complicity in a recent violent conflict.
The assembly’s majority leader, Iloabuchi Aniagu, said the bill would make the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS) be in charge of collecting taxes.
“We have been inundated with calls over alleged operational misconduct by some of our personnel, and we do not take such lightly,” said the FRSC boss.
The chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria, Enugu zone, says the price increase in petroleum products in the country is due to a hike at the source.
The APN warns that failure to meet these demands would compel the association to take all lawful and necessary actions to protect its members.
The facility was built under a special “Quick Impact Project” of the chief of the naval staff, Idi Abbas, in honour of Patrick Nwatu (Rtd).
