Anambra: AA governorship Nweke candidate promises to be fair to all

Jeff Nweke, the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance Party for the November 8 Anambra election, says he will guarantee security and freedom for people of the state if elected.
Mr Nweke, a security expert, said this while addressing the party’s supporters at the commencement of his campaign rally in Awka.
Mr Nweke said that he would treat everyone in Anambra, both residents and indigenes, fairly but vowed to make the state uncomfortable for troublemakers.
He said that if elected, he would work for the success and prosperity of all residents, irrespective of their creed, ethnicity, and social class.
“I will use the power as the governor to your advantage; I will treat Anambra residents as citizens.
“I shall guarantee that you have the freedom to attain your highest heights in political, economic and social life. I will give priority to education, agriculture and healthcare,’’ he said.
He appealed to the people to support him, saying, “I need your support and solidarity to take me to the government house; let us not use our hands to empower our oppressors.”
