Woman allegedly stabs lover to death in Ondo

A 25-year-old man, identified as Micheal Ikuedowoni, has allegedly been stabbed to death by his girlfriend in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Mr Ikuedowoni was reportedly stabbed by Augustina Mowari over an alleged romance with another lady.
Police spokesman in Ondo, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident in a chat on Monday, revealing that the deceased was allegedly stabbed after an argument broke out between him and his girlfriend.
Mr Ayanlade said the suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody for further investigation.
“An argument broke out between both parties, and she brought out scissors to stab the boy before he died.
“So, the lady is in custody, and we shall charge the case to court after our investigation,” the police spokesman added.
The incident came barely two days after Joy Adeyemi, an undergraduate student of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend.
