Tinubu’s govt hails Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation

The federal government on Tuesday hailed Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation, as well as its commitment to peace in regional and global affairs under the visionary stewardship of President Paul Kagame.
Foreign affairs minister Yusuf Tuggar disclosed this in a statement. The statement is against the backdrop of Mr Tuggar’s congratulatory message to his Rwandan counterpart, Olivier Nduhungirehe, on the occasion of the country’s independence anniversary.
According to him, the anniversary certainly marks a significant milestone in Rwanda’s history and symbolises resilience, progress, and the enduring spirit of the Rwandan people.
“Nigeria commends Rwanda’s remarkable socio-economic transformation, commitment to peace, and leadership in regional and global affairs under the visionary stewardship of President Paul Kagame.
“As fellow members of the African Union and the Commonwealth of Nations, Nigeria values the strong bilateral relations between our two countries and remains committed to deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, technology, and sustainable development.
“On this joyous occasion, therefore, we reaffirm Nigeria’s solidarity with Rwanda and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing peace and sustainable development, pan-African unity and prosperity for our people,” Mr Tuggar said.
