Tinubu condoles with Jigawa governor over mother’s death

President Bola Tinubu sent his condolences to Governor Umar Namadi over the death of his mother, Maryam Namadi, on Thursday.
The deceased, who died on Wednesday, had been buried according to Islamic rites in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa.
The president extolled the deceased’s community service and encouraged her family to immortalise her by continuing her philanthropic undertakings, according to a statement by the presidency.
Mr Tinubu urged Mr Namadi and other family members to take solace in the enduring good name she left behind.
