TCN plans emergency repairs of vandalised tower along Jos-Gombe line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria says its engineers will undertake the emergency repairs of a vandalised tower along the Jos-Gombe 330KV transmission line.
This was disclosed in a statement on its website signed by Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s spokesman.
TCN said the reinforcement would occur between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
It explained that the seven-hour repairs were essential to the transmission circuit’s damaged parts.
TCN added that as a result of the repairs, there would be power interruptions in Gombe, Yola, Damaturu and Jalingo.
”Please, be assured that bulk supply will be restored immediately after the repairs is completed,” it said.
