Police nab man for stabbing friend to death over N2,000 debt

Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have arrested one Monday Chukwu, for killing his friend Kefa Ofando.
In a post on its X handle on Thursday, the command said the 34-year-old suspect stabbed his victim to death for failing to repay the money he lent him.
It read, “Mr Monday Chukwu, a 34-year-old resident of Akintola village in the Odigbo area of the state stabbed his friend Kefa Ofando to death. Investigation revealed that the deceased had borrowed the suspect the sum of two thousand naira, which he demanded for repayment. An argument ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim with scissors on his neck.”
The command said the suspect would be charged to court.
