Missing Babcock student Siwajuola Oladipupo found alive after mother’s public outcry

Missing Babcock University student Siwajuola Oladipupo was found on Sunday alive, days after his mother, Omotayo Fijabi, cried out for help.
“My son has been found,” a relieved Ms Fijabi posted on Facebook, where she had been providing updates regarding the matter on Sunday afternoon.
During a Facebook live session on Saturday, Ms Fijabi renewed calls for help locating her son after being unable to reach him for more than 72 hours, prompting the Ogun state government and Babcock University management to act.
On Sunday, she thanked the public for their support in finding her son. The previously distraught mother noted that their “backing has not gone unnoticed”.
Meanwhile, Ms Fijabi added that she could not disclose further details about the incident due to the matter’s sensitive nature.
She explained that her priority now is taking care of her son and gathering more information.
She added, “I kindly request your understanding as I prioritise providing adequate care and gathering detailed information regarding the incident. Due to the sensitive nature of this matter, we are operating under strict instructions.
“My immediate focus is on ensuring his well-being to facilitate a thorough questioning and investigation. I promise to provide a comprehensive account of the events in due course. Thank you for your patience and understanding. God bless.”
