Macron: Incursion of Russian drones unacceptable

French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the incursion of more than a dozen Russian drones into Polish airspace, calling it “simply unacceptable”.
“I call on Russia to put an end to this headlong rush,” the French president posted on X.
Mr Macron expressed his solidarity with the Polish population and their government.
The Polish Air Force had destroyed over a dozen drones that entered the country’s airspace during Russian attacks on Ukraine overnight.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Wednesday that they came from Russia.
He said it was the first time Russian drones had been shot down over NATO territory.
There were no reports of injury, but there have been damages to property.
