Kelvin De Bruyne powers Manchester City to top of Premier League table

Kelvin De Bruyne was enough for Manchester City to defeat Leicester City 1-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon to go top of the Premier League table.
City didn’t feel the absence of informed forward Erling Haaland, who was missing in action after picking up a knock in the Champions League goalless draw against Dortmund Tuesday.
Leicester City, who are yet to concede any goal in their last three league matches, were able to keep visitors at bay as the first half of the City-dominated half.
With the inability of City to break Leicester City’s defence from open play, De Bruyne fired a long range shot from a freekick to finally break the deadlock four minutes into second half.
Despite having 65% possession, City can only thank their luck as Leicester City were unable to convert multiple chances they created in search of an equaliser.
The victory sent Manchester City to top of the league table, with a point ahead of Arsenal, who are yet to play their own game.
Meanwhile, Leicester City is facing the possibility of returning to the bottom of the table, given that Leeds United, Wolves and Nottingham Forest win their respective matches.
