Three persons escaped death in Osun auto crash: FRSC

The Osun Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says three persons escaped death in an accident on the Ikire-Ibadan expressway.
The sector commander, Paul Okpe, said this in a statement by his public enlightenment officer, Agnes Ogungbemi.
Mr Okpe said the accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, within Asejire Bridge, 2km from Ikoyi junction, Osun.
He said an orange commercial truck with number plate ABG 266XF lost control while speeding before running off the highway track.
According to him, three persons were in the vehicle, with only one sustaining a severe injury while others remained unhurt.
The sector commander further said the trailer was towed off the bridge by the police in Ikire divisional unit.
He said the injured victim had been taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment by the FRSC Egbeda unit command.
Mr Okpe, however, said the command would not spare anyone found disobeying road traffic regulations when apprehended.
