According to him, such a crucial training programme for designated project officers and school support officers, embarked on by the UBEC boss, Aisha Garba, aimed to reform the basic education sub-sector.

Ms Abdulmuminu said that other objectives included equipping officers with knowledge of the monitoring and evaluation framework for participants as well as the education management information system platform for data collation.
She added that developing the skills necessary to effectively support the benefiting states in implementing the curated teacher content and SSO applications was part of the objectives.
