Kano: Mohammed Bara’u assumes duty as FRSC sector commander

Mohammed Bara’u has assumed office as FRSC’s sector commander in Kano.
His new position was announced in a statement on Monday.
Mr Bara’u took over from Masa’udu Matazu following a nationwide redeployment of senior officers across various FRSC commands.
The new Kano commander officially assumed duty on Monday after a successful tenure as the zonal head of operations at FRSC Zone 1 Headquarters Kaduna.
The new commander is expected to bring his wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the corps’ mandate of promoting safer road use in Nigeria.
”He is a seasoned administrator and accomplished officer who has served in various operational, administrative, and strategic roles within the corps,” said the statement.
He called on the Kano government, stakeholders, and the public to support and cooperate with the FRSC to improve road safety and reduce traffic crashes across the state.
