Kaduna worker in court for stealing N400,000

A 28-year-old man, Pascal Francis, was arraigned on Tuesday in the Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court for stealing his employer’s N410,000.
Mr Francis is facing a charge of stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Chidi Leo, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on May 2 in the Ungwan Rimi area of Kaduna State.
Mr Leo said the defendant stole the money from his employer, James Williams of Safe-Easy Empowerment Centre located at Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna.
The prosecutor said that during police investigations, the defendant could not satisfactorily explain what he did with the money.
