Jude Ezenwafor, the Peoples Democratic Party, has been shot three months before the Anambra governorship election slated for November.

PDP spokesperson confirmed the shooting to Peoples Gazette on Saturday, saying he could not provide more details on Mr Ezenwafor’s state of health.

The FCT police said no one had contacted them yet to report any shooting but that they would open investigation to get details.

The PDP in May submitted the names of Mr Ezenwafor as its governorship flagbearer and Okeke Chukwudi as his running mate for the gubernatorial poll.
