Forum holds in Laos to promote food security

Stakeholders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region and beyond are set to address food security and its implications for sustainable economic development.
ASEAN Youth Economic Forum 2024 is holding in Laos on Thursday, to bring together key solutions for food security.
According to a Lao News Agency report, among the people attending the forum held on April 4-5 in the Lao capital, Vientiane, are professionals, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the public and private sectors.
The forum focuses on the agricultural value chain while seeking to accelerate sustainable socioeconomic development and poverty alleviation in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
The forum is also expected to raise awareness of food security, promote advanced agricultural technologies and knowledge sharing, and highlight innovative strategies to address food security challenges.
