Adamu Bello, a former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, has called on the federal government to partner with local communities to tackle food insecurity.

Mr Bello, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development from 2001 to 2007, made the call on Saturday in Abuja.

He urged the federal government to make concerted efforts to tackle insecurity by collaborating with the local communities.
