Eid-el-Kabir: Lawmaker urges wealthy Nigerians to assist needy

A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muluku Agah, has urged wealthy Nigerians to remember the needy and less privileged as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Mr Agah, representing Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency, said such a gesture would improve their living standard and give them a sense of belonging.
The lawmaker, who is the chairman, House Committee on Planning, Budget and SDGs, urged Muslims to continue to pray for peace, unity and progress of the country.
“Let’s all continue to preach the message of peace and unity as well embrace them at all times for development to thrive.
“No society can achieve speedy development without peace, as peace is priceless and non-negotiable,” he said.
