Chimamanda styled by Dior in new handbag campaign

French luxury fashion brand Dior hsd chosen multiple award-winning Nigerian writer Chimamanda Adichie as the first woman to represent the renowned brand in the special bag Lady95.22 campaign.
The novelist, who was recently bestowed the chieftaincy title ‘Odeluwa’ in Abba, Anambra, starred in the launch advert for the luxurious brand tagged “The lady 95.22.”
The advertisement featured a variety of lifestyles ranging from art, fashion, sports, and much more.
“The Lady 95.22” as the tag implies, is a revival of fashion created in “1995”, as it was now revived in “2022”.
“Its unique name references the year of its predecessors and its own creation,” Dior captioned the advert beneath their verified Instagram page.
It was launched on January 11, 2023, at the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2022-2023 ready-to-wear show.
The black and white detailed advertisement exhibited the simplicity of the writer rocking a white and black pants suit with her famous quote boldly written “We Should All Be Feminists”.
