Bayelsa: Jonathan mourns ex-Acting Governor Nestor Binabo

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday expressed sadness over the demise of ex-Acting Governor Nestor Binabo, who died in an Abuja hospital.
Mr Jonathan, in his condolence message by his media adviser Ikechukwu Eze, condoled his family and the Bayelsa government.
He described the late politician as an experienced lawmaker and patriot who made considerable contributions to the development of the state, adding that the deceased would be missed because of his dedicated service to humanity.
“I condole with the Binabo family and the government and people of Bayelsa state on the death of Nestor Binabo, former acting governor of the state. Binabo was an accomplished politician, an experienced lawmaker and a service-oriented leader who made (a) significant impact during his active time in politics,” the ex-president stated.
Mr Jonathan also described Binabo as a patriotic Bayelsan who contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state.
“He will be sorely missed by people from all walks of life, especially for his patriotism and service to humanity,” Mr Jonathan said.
He prayed that God comfort the deceased’s family and grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
