APC passes vote of confidence in Cross River chairman

The All Progressives Congress has passed a vote of confidence in its Cross River chairman, Alphonsus Eba.
This is contained in a statement by its spokesman Erasmus Ekpang in the state.
The statement said the vote of confidence was passed during a meeting convened by Eka Williams, the APC deputy chairman in Cross River.
It said the Cross River APC executive hailed the chairman for his efforts in ensuring an overwhelming victory for the party at the 2023 polls.
The party said the state executive also commended Mr Eba for sustaining the party’s unity with his peace, love, unity and growth mantra.
“The chairman, within two years of joining the APC, led the party to a 90 per cent victory in the 2023 general elections. The chairman is a man of strategies, and that is why he led APC to a landslide victory for the first time,” said the statement.
The party added, “We all can attest to the fact that he supervised a transparent party primary that brought the most popular candidates on board, one of them is Sen. Bassey Otu, the governor-elect.”
