Adamawa APC appoints acting chairman for Numan LG

The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has appointed Gentle Pharis as the acting chairman of the party in the Numan Local Government Area of the state.
The party spokesman, Mohammed Abdullahi, who stated this on Tuesday in Yola, said the appointment was endorsed during the party’s State Working Committee meeting held in Yola.
He said the action was sequel to the suspension of the embattled Chairman, Ndikashe Festus, due to irreconcilable differences between him and the state leadership of the party.
Mr Abdullahi thanked the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, for donating food items to members of the party across the 21 local government areas of the state.
He also lauded Mr Ribadu over the release of the abducted schoolchildren in Kaduna State.
