The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has urged entrepreneurs, investors and corporate leaders to embrace new opportunities and the spirit of hope and resilience that Easter embodies.

ACCI president Emeka Obegolu made the call in his Easter message signed by the organisation’s spokesperson, Olayemi John-Mensah, on Sunday.

According to Mr Obegolu, Easter presents a valuable opportunity for reflection, innovation, and renewed commitment to enterprise development.

“The chamber also acknowledges ongoing challenges within the business landscape, ranging from economic uncertainties to infrastructural and policy constraints.

“Easter is a symbol of new beginnings. It reminds us of the power of perseverance and unity in adversity.

“As business leaders and economic drivers, we must continue to innovate, support one another, and advocate for policies that foster a more robust and sustainable economic environment,” he said.

He reaffirmed the chamber’s dedication to promoting private sector growth through strategic partnerships, effective advocacy and capacity-building initiatives.

He said such initiatives would help in enhancing competitiveness and attracting investment.

Mr Obegolu encouraged members of the business community to use the Easter period to reflect on their goals and explore new opportunities that can drive growth and generate employment, especially in light of current economic realities.

“As we celebrate Easter, let us remain hopeful and focused on building an inclusive economy where businesses of all sizes can thrive.

“On behalf of the executive council and members of the ACCI, I wish all Nigerians, especially ACCI members and partners, a peaceful, joyful and prosperous Easter celebration,” he said.
