This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Nakwada, on Friday in Gusau.
He also said two retired majors; Muhammad Adamu and Ahmed Shinkafi would serve as deputy and assistant state commandants, respectively.
He added that Mr Adamu would oversee administration and Mr Shinkafi would be in charge of logistics.
“Among the appointees are the guards commanders for the 14 Local Government Areas of the state,” the SSG added.
