Zamfara APC chapter condoles Tinubu over Buhari’s death

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condoled with President Bola Tinubu over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday in a hospital in London.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Tuesday by the state APC publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris.
The Zamfara State APC chapter also extended condolences to the acting national chairman of the party, Ali Dalori.
Mr Idris said, “The APC leadership in the state under Alhaji Tukur Danfulani wishes to extend its heartfelt condolences to President Bola Tinubu and the acting National Chairman of the party, Dr Ali Dalori, over the death of Buhari. On behalf of the state executives, party leaders, elders, youths, women’s wing and party supporters in the state, I wish to register the party’s condolences to Tinubu over the death of Buhari.
“He was a pillar who played vital roles in the formation of the progressive political movement in the country. The late president would be remembered for his honesty, hard work, and his government’s fight against corruption.”
According to him, late Mr Buhari had exhibited a high sense of tolerance and an independent mind of leadership that promoted electoral independence where every citizen’s vote counted.
Mr Idris stated, “We pray Almighty Allah to reward his soul with Jannatul Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings.’’
According to him, the state chairman of the party, Mr Danfulani, has also directed the closure of the state secretariat of the party to mourn the death of one of our leaders as directed by the zonal office of the party.
