Yobe: Buni appoints new head of service
Governor Mai Mala Buni has appointed Tonga Betara as the new head of service.
This was announced in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the appointment follows the retirement of the former HoS, Hamidu Alhaji, who attained the mandatory 60 years of service.
It said the appointment of the new HoS was with immediate effect.
Mr Betara was, before his appointment, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Environment.
