X owner Elon Musk trying to buy U.S. presidential election for Trump: Biden

American President Joe Biden has accused tech billionaire and X microblogging platform owner, Elon Musk, and his friends of trying to buy the November 5 election for his opponent, Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
Mr Biden made this accusation in a post on X, soliciting funds for his campaign ahead of the November 5 election. The post features a thumbnail image of both Mr Trump and Mr Musk, prominently displayed on Mr Biden’s donation portal.
“I’m sick of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election,” Mr Biden tweeted on Wednesday.
Mr Biden’s accusation came after Mr Musk openly declared his support for Mr Trump, following Saturday’s attempted assassination attempt on the former American President at Butler, Pa.
Moments after the incident, Mr Musk took to his X account, declaring “I fully endorse President Trump.”
Afterwards, the American tech billionaire also said he was committing $45 million every month in donations to Mr Trump’s campaign as the Republican Party nominee pushes to defeat incumbent Mr Biden in the 2024 November U.S. presidential election.
