Nigerian artiste Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, took to his Instagram story to reveal a generous donation of N100 million for children in Surulere for Christmas, The Grammy award-winning singer dedicated the donation to his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away on August 18. He expressed the sentiment, “100M for the kids for Christmas! Lord bless us all. All in Morayo’s name! The love of my life!”

Mohbad: Naira Marley sues Iyabo Ojo for N500 million over alleged defamation
Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, has accused actress Iyabo Ojo of spreading false and defamatory information about him online. In a letter from Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, addressed to the actress, the accusations stem from a September 2023 Instagram post where Iyabo Ojo claimed Naira Marley engaged in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Mohbad, causing mental harm. The lawyer demands a redress of N500 million and a public apology on her Instagram page and in a national daily, threatening legal action if not complied with.
In response, Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, questioned Naira Marley’s audacity on her Instagram story, highlighting ongoing legal matters involving the singer. She emphasised her mother’s efforts in supporting various causes, including legal battles, hospital bills, and justice for those who were wronged.
