Wamakko mourns dozens killed by bandits in Sokoto

On Sunday, Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North) sympathised with the people of Tangaza Lga over a bandits’ attack that killed many people in some villages.
Mr Wamakko, in a statement by his media Bashar Abubakar, condoled the bereaved families.
On Saturday, gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked the people of six villages in Tangaza LGA.
The bandits killed at least 30 people and wounded many others.
Mr Wamakko, the All Progressive Congress (APC) leader in Sokoto, described the incident as unfortunate and ungodly.
“For this attack, the authorities should urgently take the necessary measures and ensure that the perpetrators must be brought to book to face the wrath of the law,” stated Mr Wamakko.
He added, “I condoled with the people of the area and prayed to Allah the Almighty to forgive the deceased and reward them with Jannatul Firdausi as their final abode.”
The lawmaker also prayed for the quick recovery of those wounded and receiving treatment at the hospital.
