UNILAG to test new students for drugs, substances in toxicology screening

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has scheduled its mandatory toxicology screening for newly admitted students from October 26 to December 18, the institution said in a statement on Saturday.
“In line with the university’s policy on mandatory drug testing as a prerequisite for newly admitted candidates, all newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry candidates are hereby informed that the Toxicology Screening Exercise will commence on Monday, October 26, 2026, and end on Friday, December 18, 2026,” the statement said.
The university’s toxicology team will be at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola Multipurpose Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily to collect and test samples.
The institution directed newly admitted students to complete the toxicology screening before the admission screening and registration exercise.
To schedule their toxicology screening, students must first complete a Google Form and upload their JAMB numbers and biodata forms.
Students must print the slips sent to their email addresses and present proof of payment at their screening appointments.
UNILAG urged newly admitted students to visit its website for further information.
