Ukraine War: Protesters gather outside German embassy in Estonia

A group of people gathered to protest Russia’s war against Ukraine in front of the German embassy in Riga on Monday.
The demonstrators laid down on the ground, recreating an image of the civilians who were killed in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha.
They laid with their hands behind their backs and black plastic bags over their heads, photos published online showed.
The protest sought to persuade Germany and other European countries to take tougher action on Russia amid Moscow’s ongoing war on neighbouring Ukraine.
“We are signalling that innocent people are dying and those responsible are not doing enough to protect them,’’ organisers told Estonian Radio.
