Ukraine demands seized Russian assets in the West

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has asked that the West release part of the funds seized from Russia to his country.
Mr Shmyhal made the demand on Friday, preferring it be done within the next six months.
According to him, a working group has been set up for the purpose.
He said the group is already working in several areas.
The prime minister added that “first is the seizure of Russian assets in the West and the transfer of these funds to Ukraine.”
Ukraine is working separately with several countries on the issue, he added.
