Two men in court for allegedly stealing car parts, other items

Two men Joseph Shedrack, 25 and Rasak Kabir, 30, on Wednesday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly stealing car parts and other items.
The duo whose addresses were not provided was charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, ASP Foluke Adedosu, told the court that the defendants committed the offences between September 2024 and October 2024, in the Elebu area of Ibadan.
Ms Adedosu alleged that the defendants stole a Toyota Sienna engine, moulding block machine, wire and cable starter, tyre nuts and key starter among others, belonging to one Lukman Bolade.
She said the offences contravened Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, A.T. Oyediji, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N500, 000 each and two sureties each in like sum.
She adjourned the case until September 22, for hearing.
