Two die in Lagos-Ibadan expressway auto crash

The Federal Road Safety Corps has said two people died in an accident at the Long Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Monday.
The spokesperson of FRSC in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, who confirmed the incident in a statement in Abeokuta on Monday, said that one person sustained injury in the accident.
Mrs Okpe explained that the incident occurred at 5:38a.m, and was caused by a road obstruction and fatigue.
The FRSC spokesperson said that the accident involved a Mazda bus marked EDE 217 XB, and a MAN diesel truck with registration number AJL 715 XA.
“The injured victim was taken to Hopeland Hospital, Warewa while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of Real Divine Hospital, Ibafo,” she said.
