Two die in Ilaro-Owode road crash

Two persons died while one other sustained injuries in an accident at Iyana Odogo, on Ilaro-Owode Road, on Friday.
Florence Okpe, the spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Abeokuta.
Mrs Okpe noted that the accident occurred at 6:00 p.m. and it involved a Mitsubishi car marked JJJ 854 JH and a truck with registration number T12224LA.
She said that a total number of seven people were involved, which comprised four men and three women.
”One woman got injured while two men were killed from the crash.
” The suspected causes of the crash were obstruction and speed violation,” she said.
The FRSC spokesperson said that the injured victim and the deceased were taken to General Hospital, Ilaro.
The sector commander, Anthony Uga, advised motorists to drive within the stipulated speed limit and always obey traffic rules and regulations.
