Two arrested for allegedly damaging Enugu airport fence

The Police Command in Enugu State has arrested one Jonathan Emejulu, 66, for alleged damage of a part of the perimeter fence of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
This is contained in a statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, on Sunday in Enugu.
Mr Ndukwe said that Mr Emejulu was arrested by police operatives alongside another male suspect on Sunday.
He said that exhibits recovered from the suspects included: two pickaxes, five Monday hammers, two shovels and reinforcement bars.
“They shall be arraigned in court and prosecuted once investigations are concluded. Further development will be communicated on the matter,” he said.
