Twitter to limit number of posts accounts can read daily

Microblogging site Twitter has temporarily limited the number of tweets that an account can read daily.
Owner of the platform, Elon Musk, on Saturday, tweeted that the move was to “address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation.”
In the new change, verified accounts will read up to 6000 posts, while unverified accounts and newly opened unverified accounts are limited to 600 and 300 posts, respectively.
Since Mr Musk bought the microblogging site, he has initiated many changes, notably charging $8 per month for anyone to get a blue checkmark.
This development comes three weeks after Mr Musk relinquished the CEO position to Linda Yaccarino.
