U.S. President Donald Trump has offered a $1 million reward to anyone who reports voter fraud in past elections or the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.

Mr Trump made the offer in a social media post on Monday as Americans prepare to vote in the midterm elections.

“Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!,” Mr Trump said.

Mr Trump’s offer of a financial reward to those who report electoral fraud comes amid his administration’s crackdown on alleged voter fraud involving foreign nationals.

On Monday, 48 foreign nationals were charged with illegal voting and other election-related crimes.
