President-elect Donald Trump has nominated TV producer Mark Burnett as a special envoy to the United Kingdom.
Announcing the appointment on Truth Social, Mr Trump praised Mr Burnett’s career and potential to foster stronger ties between the UK and the U.S.
“With a distinguished career in television production and business, Mark brings a unique blend of diplomatic acumen and international recognition to this important role,” Mr Trump stated.
