Trump administration to publish John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination documents

Donald Trump says his administration will release documents on the assassination of former American President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy and civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr.
Mr Trump, who will assume duty on Monday, disclosed this on Sunday at his pre-inauguration ‘Make America Great Again Victory Rally’ at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
“In the coming days,” Mr Trump said, “we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kenedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr Martin Luther King Jr.”
He added, “As the first step toward restoring transparency and accountability to government, we will also reverse the over-classification of government documents.”
Mr Trump bowed to pressure from the FBI and CIA, failing to publish the documents in his first stint in the White House.
Publishing documents related to the assassinations of the aforementioned political figures will put an end to some conspiracy theories.
Mr Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, and his brother and Mr King were assassinated in 1968.
