The Nigeria Union of Teachers staged a nationwide solidarity protest to condemn the killing of a teacher and demand the release of other staffers and pupils kidnapped in Oyo.
Mr Uba directed the students to resume academic activities on June 15.
He said armed conflicts, terrorism, violent extremism and humanitarian crises had displaced millions of Africans and disrupted children’s access to education.
The management of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has expelled 365 students for securing admission with falsified academic documents.
“Only WAEC candidates and teachers involved in the examination process are expected to be in school,” a teacher in Ibadan said.
“They should give us peace of mind. Otherwise, we will not participate in the forthcoming elections,” Mrs Olowookere, an Ibadan resident, said.
At the grand finale of the three-day competition, Mr Alli-Balogun said the platform broadened students’ exposure and encouraged intellectual engagement.
The DOJ alleged that UCLA violated Title VI through its deliberate indifference to this pervasive on-campus antisemitism.
The NUT urged members to comply fully with the directive.
