Gbenga Eleduma, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has made a public appeal to Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to revamp the country’s economy.

Mr Eleduma, in a statement in Akure on Tuesday, urged Nigerians to bear with the president as he worked to implement his economic transformation agenda.

“Nigerians must bear with the president and his team as they work tirelessly to revamp our economy and create a better future for our country,” he stated.

He acknowledged that the journey ahead might be challenging, saying that he is confident that the president’s economic transformation agenda will yield positive results in the long run.

Mr Eleduma emphasised that Mr Tinubu’s economic transformation agenda was a comprehensive and inclusive plan that aimed to address the country’s economic challenges and create a more prosperous future for all Nigerians.

He noted that the president’s commitment to diversifying the economy, promoting entrepreneurship and creating jobs was laudable and deserved the support of all citizens.

Mr Eleduma also appealed to Nigerians to eschew divisive tendencies and come together in support of the government’s economic transformation agenda.

“We must put aside our political and ethnic differences and work together to build a prosperous and united Nigeria,” he said.
