Tinubu hails Kaduna people for supporting him, promises rewards

President Bola Tinubu has thanked the people of Kaduna for their support of his administration, promising to reciprocate with rewards.
“Back in The Aso Villa, I again thank the people of Kaduna State for their unflinching support of our administration,” Mr Tinubu said on Thursday after visiting the state commission some projects. “Indeed, I felt at home there. Our bond is unbreakable.”
As part of his administration’s rewards for their support, the president announced the reconstruction of Birnin Gwari Road, which had been abandoned for years due to rampaging insecurity in Kaduna.
Mr Tinubu added, “Our administration has a lot in store for the people of Kaduna State. The Federal Executive Council has approved the reconstruction of the important Birnin Gwari Road, which is a link between northern and southern Nigeria. The road reconstruction is a just reward for peace.”
The president also promised to work closely with Governor Uba Sani to sustain efforts made to facilitate infrastructural, security and human capital development in the state.
“Any community that embraces peace opens the gate to progress and development. I will continue to work closely with my dear comrade, Governor Uba Sani, to consolidate the progress made in security, infrastructural development, human capital development, and social investment,” the president said.
The president’s visit formed part of his activities marking Mr Sani’s two years in office.
