Thugs disrupt voting in Kano supplementary election

Thugs wielding cudgels and other dangerous weapons disrupted voting in Alasawa Kwaciri Ward 030, Kurna Gabas, Fagge Local Government Area of Kano on Saturday.
Hundreds of voters who turned up to exercise their franchise were violently dispersed by the hoodlums.
It took the intervention of policemen on ground to chase away the thugs and restore normalcy for the voting process to continue.
INEC had scheduled the supplementary election to conclude the March 18 state constituency election in Fagge LG.
Supplementary elections are also going on in affected constituencies in 24 states of the federation.
