Three killed, four injured in Niger auto crash

At least three persons were killed, and four others sustained injuries in an auto crash at Gunu village in Munya Local Government Area of Niger on Friday.
Sector commander of the FRSC in Niger, Kumar Tsukwam, told journalists in Minna on Sunday that the accident involved a commercial bus and a saloon car.
“Seven persons were involved in the accident; three of them died, while four others sustained injuries.
“The dead and the injured were taken away by their family members, and the vehicles were handed over to the police at Munya Divisional Police Office,’’ he said.
Mr Tsukwam blamed the accident on excessive speeding and loss of control on the part of one of the drivers and advised motorists to always observe speed limits to avoid crashes.
