TCN announces six-hour disruption of electricity supply in parts of Abuja

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a six-hour planned maintenance at its Katampe transmission substation in Abuja, warning of a temporary disruption in electricity supply to parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
In a statement on Saturday, the company said the exercise would take place from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m on Saturday
“Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) are unable to off-take electricity for onward supply to customers in parts of Katampe Main, Katampe Extension, Jahi and environs during the maintenance period,” it said.
The company apologised for any inconvenience the development could cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
