Nigeria’s Super Eagles thrashed Jamaica 3-0 in yet another clash between the two sides to emerge back-to-back Unity Cup champions.

The victory at The Valley on Saturday saw the Super Eagles begin dominantly, taking the lead just three minutes in.

Alhassan Yusuf opened the scoring with a perfect right-footed finish.

After the break, Eric Chelle’s men doubled their advantage with a header from Terem Moffi in the centre of the box, following a pinpoint delivery from Femi Azeez.

In stoppage time, after dominating Jamaica throughout the match, Yusuf sealed the victory for Nigeria with his second goal, assisted by Philip Otele.

Eric Chelle and the Super Eagles successfully defended their Unity Cup crown against the Reggae Boyz, while Zimbabwe secured third place after edging India 1-0.

The victory also means Nigeria remains the champion in all four editions of the Unity Cup since the competition began in 2002.
