SON urges use of AI to industrialise Nigeria

SON has called on Nigerians to use AI to promote innovation and industrialisation in the country.

The Standards Organisation of Nigeria has called on Nigerians to use artificial intelligence to promote innovation and industrialisation in the country.

Marline Waziri, SON’s North-Central director, made the call at a roadshow organised to commemorate the 2024 World Standards Day on Thursday in Jos.

”At the 5th Global Symposium recently in Delhi, India, emphasises was placed on how to achieve industry, innovation and infrastructure through the use of AI.

“What we are saying is that AI is very important in our drive toward achieving industry and innovation in our society. So, we are calling on Nigerians, to take advantage of AI to improve their businesses and maintain standards at all times,” she said.
