Soludo promises to help Anambra flood victims

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra has promised to assist flood victims in Anambra.
Mr Soludo, represented by Ernest Ezeajughi, his chief of staff, disclosed this when he went on a tour of flood-devastated areas in Anambra.
Mr Ezeajughi said the governor directed the visit following the alarm from residents affected by the floods.
Arinze Awogu, a former chairman of Ogbaru, had called on the federal and Anambra governments to rescue the area from submerging.
Mr Ezeajughi assured the residents that the Anambra government would liaise with the federal government to ensure the quick evacuation of people and their property.
